        Pre-schoolers are the children aged from 1-5 years. Their demand for attaining good nutritional status is at the peak since they have a higher rate of growth spurt. Pre-school children are the vulnerable among the population since they experience

        Pre-schoolers are the group of children having more cravings for chocolates, bakery products and junk foods due to its attractive color and of-course the taste!

        Cognition in other words the mental development of children. In present era, many children were affected with some Diseases and Disorders. Due to advancement in technologies, we can be able to identify the disorders even at the earlier stage of life i.e @ antenatal period. For instance we have Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder (ADHD), Cerebral palsy, Down's syndrome, Cretinism and so on. The majority of disorders and diseases are happening just because of the nutritional deficiencies.

  • Major minerals (Ca, Ph, Mg, Na, K)
  • Minor minerals (Fe, I2) 
  • Trace minerals (F2, Cu, Zn)

  • It acts as a constituent of bone and teeth
  • It acts as a constituent of soft tissues
  • It involves in the electrolyte balance
